WALLCOVERING
Tina can change your walls from ordinary into a backdrop that complements and completes your room.
Wallcovering has been the most cost-effective material in decorating for over 35 years.
Why do you think commercial buildings are still strong in this area? The money is not only saved in repainting, but most important many wallpapers wash far better than paint.
Wall coverings have always been Tina’s passion! The home fashion industry has agreed with me that they are “in” again. Wallcoverings are no longer big flowers and flowered borders. If flowers are your love we can do them, but generally I use classic textures that ride the times and make a rich background to your home furnishings.
Important lesson: Did you know?
Paint is not meant to be the total decorating answer that today’s television programs portray, for example different colors in every room. We learned in the 1960s not to put a different color carpet in every room of your home. This idea breaks the design flow and makes your home look smaller. Today’s television shows teach the same thing with paint.
Rhythm: keep the colors you love flowing through your home and add your favorite accent colors in a few areas to stave off boredom.
Example: a living room in yellow, white and green, a dining room in yellow and white, and a kitchen in white, green and peach.
